The Sony Alpha series of mirrorless cameras hold themselves as a paragon of the industry, capturing among the highest performance in modern photography with elite brands such as Nikon and Canon. My decision to choose the Sony camera ecosystem largely depended on reliability and build quality as well as pure camera performance. While newest models boast 61MP stacked sensors and 30fps burst mode, my camera of choice is the 2018 EISA camera of the year, the Sony a7 III.
